Benefits and Uses of Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback was developed more than 30 years ago as a treatment for brain disregulation. It allows the person to stabilize over aroused or under-aroused brainwaves. Studies show that using Neurofeedback techniques, brainwaves can be retrained to function in a normal range.
Neurofeedback training enhances behavioral skills, increases concentration and balances energy and mood states.
Neurofeedback training has been effective in the treatment of
• ADD/ADHD
• Autism
• Learning Disabilities
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Sleep Disorders
• Attachment Disorders
• Obsessive Compulsive Behavior
• Addictive Behaviors
Children as young as age five years old, adolescents and adults can all benefit from neurofeedback training to help regulate a range of brain disfunctions.

Neurofeedback and Other Therapies
Neurofeedback, psychotherapy and medication can be used together. Many clients report that the need for medication is reduced or eliminated when neurofeedback is added to the treatment plan. Adjustments in medication are made under the direction of client’s physician.

Interactive Metronome® (IM) System
The patented Interactive Metronome (IM) system is the result of years of research and development. It uses guidance sounds and repetitive limb motion exercises to help trainees improve their underlying motor planning and sequencing ability.
The IM computer program and special sounds systematically guide the trainee through a learning process.
